Tattoo parties are also more likely to involve drugs and alcohol which always increase the risk of problems. For instance, there is a higher chance for ruined artwork due to a person getting a tattoo while interacting with others or an intoxicated artist making mistakes while under the influence of whatever he or she chooses to indulge in.
Although some people might think a tattoo party would be fun, ultimately the idea of a party around a tattoo being applied is just going to be an added distraction, which makes it harder to come up with quality work. Anyone who is interested in getting a tattoo should be mainly concerned with getting quality work since it’s going to be on their body for the rest of their life unless they go to the trouble and expense of having it removed.
What are tattoo parties? Places where people go when they really don’t care what kind or quality tattoo they get. Even if they just go to watch, they are simply engaging in the process of encouraging others to get sub-quality work done in a less than clean environment.
